I think this Elegy
is meaningful, but
I do not really understand about the contents of the
article. In my perception,
science like the sea which not trimmed
surrounded by communication,
lazy, teachers, students,
and anything that
can not mention all of them are
described as an iceberg. In studying, we should have to recognize
and be polite to
these sciences. As well as iceberg, science also
has levels that we should also
know through common sense, critical thinking, inquiry,
and the knowledge we have. Iceberg approach can be
applied to mathematics learning method, in
which a learning stage is gradual of the valley with
concrete learning methods and simple to the mountain
peaks or a higher level with more complex methods. Sometimes people are more focused on what was in peaks of
the mountains than what's in the valley, but
the valley is the basis of the peak of the
mountain, in which to reach a peak need effort and sacrifice that is not easy.
