The above article opened my mind. In doing something, the intention is the key to all the deeds that we do. The true intention will determine the truth in worship. If we’re worshiping with a sincere intention that every step we pass will be lighter and helpful. For example, when we’re studying, knowledge will be easily understand with a sincere heart, just expect the pleasure of Allah.
One barrier sincere is Riya’. For example, following the Ikhlas Ritual in order to get a compliment from a friend or relative, or to gain prestige in the community. Sincere is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand, but as believers we should have learned by now to always sincere in doing any act.
