Urgensi Filsafat dalam Pendidikan Islam untuk Pendidikan Karakte

After I read the paper entitled Urgency of Philosophy in Islamic Education to Character Education, I can conclude that the study of philosophy should not be partial, but it is comprehensive and holistic, to communicate the philosophy should related to space, time and context, and to study philosophy should be based on the belief solid spirituality and faith. The establishment of the Islamic character starts from Islamic theology. Islamic characters can be developed starting from the Islamic creed spoken, hearts and deeds. Philosophy serves to clarify and enrich shape or its form, and also substance so that the value of the Islamic character can emerge through that material, formal, normative and spiritual. Needed an open and dynamic communication between Religion and Philosophy that obtained transitional space (buffer) as a synergistic interaction arena for sorting and selecting criteria elements. Istikamah attitude is a high level character in Islam is expected to invite and allow for sharing of Philosophy and presentation ideas or ideas for the common good.
